Our travelers will enjoy experiences discovering the cultural and natural wealth of San Andrés Island, including diving in crystal clear waters and engaging with local environmentalists to help communities and learn about coral reef restoration. We will explore places located in the UNESCO Seaflower Biosphere Reserve, home to the third largest coral reef in the world.

WELCOMING IN SAN ANDRES

On this day, you will be received at the airport and taken to the hotel. According to your arrival time you can have a ground tour by the island visiting different tourist spots such as the Baptist church, the Morgan’s cave, the “blow hole”, botanical garden, among others that will give you a first overview not only from the city, but also de rural and locals life. You will also have a special welcome dinner by the sea with torch decoration in a private table in the ocean.

SCUBA DIVING / SNORKELING

On this day, you will have a diving experience visiting one of the diving spots in the island according to your certification level and weather conditions. Certified divers will enjoy a double diving dive, while non-certified divers can do a guided snorkel activity or receive a class where they will learn some of the basic skills of diving, and later they can immerse themselves in a guided diving up to 12 meters deep to enjoy this great coral reef.

MARINE DAY TRIP + ISLANDS & BAY

On this day, you will have a 6-hrs. boat tour visiting the Johnny Cay regional park, recognized for its white beaches and turquoise blue waters. Later you will be transferred to the Haynes Cay, where you will enjoy a typical local lunch. You will continue visiting clear waters, seagrasses and corals where you can swim and spot the local fauna and flora before heading back to the hotel or being taken to one of the great restaurants of the city.

KAYAK + PARASAILING

In the morning, you will a guided kayak eco-tour by the Old Point Ecological Park. During the tour you will enjoy crystal clear waters, mangroves, spot local bird species, starfish, upside down jellyfish, colorful fish and more with the transparent kayaks. In the afternoon you will enjoy a parasail flight at 100 meters high for approximately 15 minutes. You will be aboard a speedboat that will sail to lift you into the air and can also enjoy 2-hrs. in the boat.

FLIGHT OUT SAN ANDRES

On this day, you will have breakfast at the hotel. You will have a transfer included to take you to the airport of San Andres in order to be 2-hrs. before flight out the island.

Regarding the hotel you cannot expect luxury here, but a great service in a charming small boutique hotel with very comfortable rooms next to the beach and guaranteed service for international customers that we have used for long time and offers a close taste of the local communities (https://www.cocoplumhotel.com).
This hotel can be upgraded to Aquamare Hotel (https://www.hotelaquamare.com/), but this is a big hotel located in the town, which is located far from the beach, being a traditional big chain hotel with higher comfort.

ACTIVITIES
All the activities mentioned in the plan, all in private tours and transportations, except when necessary to be shared.

MEALS
- 4 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 dinners.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE CARD
The tour includes a travel assistance card for all the days that covers possible accidents, medical attention and emergency transportations for a quick response in case of being necessary according to the evacuation time during the activities and level of medical attention at the destination.
